I am the <strong>ONLY</strong> candidate who agrees with our past and current Police Chiefs who recommend <strong>AGAINST</strong> liquor license transfers from outside the city, based on Police staffing reductions.  I am proud to put <strong><u>Your Public Safety First</u></strong> by supporting the Proposal to Amend the Liquor Control Ordinance. As a City Commissioner, I will not compromise the safety of our neighborhoods. Our Public Safety is only as good as our Police, Fire, and EMS’ ability to adequately service our entire city, not just our downtown bars.  <strong><u>For far too long, our residents have had to compete against downtown bars for Public Safety resources</u></strong>.  Whether our Police are called to the bars to control a fight or attend to noise a complaint, that is time that our officers are not able to spend patrolling and protecting our neighborhoods.
